The No. 1 brass oil lamp adapter that comes with a pre-formed side hole allows for the electrification of traditional oil lamps while hiding what are often unsightly electrical wires. Such wires can be threaded through the hole on the side of the adapter’s 1-1/2” bulge and then run up to either an attached socket or piping, arms, and other fittings. Installed in place of a traditional burner, these adapters are then usually fitted with an electrical socket or similar appliance.
With a 2/8” high, 1/8” IP nipple, this adapter has an overall height of 1-3/4”. Its 7/8” No. 1 thread allows for easy installation, just as is its burnished brass finish will look attractive for years to come.
