LAMP SLIP RINGS

Not to be confused with the ‘slip rings’ that allow for the transfer of electrical power in motors, lamp slip rings are simple rings that slide over a tube, rod, or pipe and can be locked in place by the tightening of a screw. Conversely, a stationary or mounted slip ring can be loosened in such a way that allows for the exposed length of any tube, pipe, or rod that runs through it to be adjusted and then locked in place with a further tightening of the screw.

We currently carry 1”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 5/8”, and 7/8” slip rings. Our 7/8” slip ring is also suitable for 1/2” iron conduit.
